I'm an official D&D/MTG illustrator working on a game that's p much a love letter to everything I like about RPGs. and more: it's pay-what-you-like. get OMIOS URES for free if you want, I don't care. spread the word, play the game once with your group and I guarantee they will want a campaign. :)

page of OMIOS URES. digital painting over graphite sketch of a chameleon hunter with a hand cannon. his prehensile tail is holding a torch behind him, and various items are strapped to his body. a bandolier with potions, a large bag with a bear trap sticking out, a fairy in a cage hanging from a rod. waterskin, pocket watch, sleeping bag, retro aviator-like goggles on his forehead. he walks hunched, as if sneaking about, and his delicate gait - exactly like a chameleon's - is a visual play, resembling the tippy toe walk of a cartoonish hunter

The following pages cover a number of ordinary (and extraordinary) miscellania favored by adventurers.

When employing an item’s Skill Check for a NPC, replace the skill with the NPC’s Body, Mind or Magic. An NPC trying to break out of manacles uses Body instead of Physique.

Heavily inspired by Morrowind, Planescape and 70's Star Wars with a dash of bronze age and art nouveau. The mood? Conan after Conan: all the heroes are dead and this is the world they built. That's OMIOS URES, my weird fantasy RPG. And it's FREE on itch.io! matheusgraef.itch.io/omios-ures

A black robed wizard, embroided with stars, stands on top of a stone peak. Behind him, the vastness of the world. The early morning creeps amidst the ravines, painting the world in coy lilacs and deep purples. A city of horned spires jolts from the stony wastes, illuminated in bright cosmopolitan oranges. An alien zeppelin flares out its floodlights at the rooftops and beyond.

The wizard stares at the viewer, though we do not see within his cloak and hood. Blackness. From the void creeps out two marble-white hands, old as time, covered in rings, gesturing in unknown signs.

I love this artwork by Richard Clifton-Dey! First used as interior illustration in 'Tour of the Universe' by Malcolm Edwards and Robert Holdstock, but more well known for a few album covers and as box art for a video game

A huge dinosaur-like alien creature with long wiggly neck, multiple eyes, and a gaping mouth filled with weird teeth rises up from a canyon. The background is a mountain landscape and a few more of the same type of alien, all under a blue sky with several planets in it. A small spaceship flies past the main alien's head.

The Australian 3D series "Shaun Tan's Tales from Outer Suburbia" (by Flying Bark studio) has been quietly available for free on BYUtv for months (in the U.S.), and it also includes some 2D segments. >> www.byutv.org/tales-from-o... I made this short video as a friendly reminder.

First trailer for "Tales from Outer Suburbia" series by Flying Bark studio (Australia), based on the picture books by Shaun Tan. There aren't that many big Australian animated productions.
