I like to think there's a little something for everyone here. There isn't, but I can think what I want.
I'm now imagining a sitcom where he's promised the world cup final to three different countries and he has to somehow get round them all in one day without the others realising.
Since this "nothing has got better" reactionary stuff is doing the rounds again, re-upping a thread plus the many answers to it wherein we identified lots of things that have, in fact, got better.

I find it infuriating that if you put some keywords into google to try and find a tweet you half-remember it's shithead AI says "ooh, do you want me to draft a mediocre tweet for you? he's some awful twee little posts you could pass off as your own!"
I cannot find the post that was like "I named my tits scylla and charybdis because of all the semen caught between them" but it has been on my mind a lot during the discourse of late.
This is such a pervasive and pernicious framing. Intellectually dishonest and harmful in a wide variety of ways.

Once again, I come back to the fact these guys have created a situation where one of the UK's leading, cis female athletes is scared to go to the loo alone, and the fact that they are celebrating this as a step forward for women's rights.
