Dropout was already one of the best value-per-dollar options you could find in entertainment, but this just makes it so much better. I've been a fan of Hertzfeldt since I saw Billy's Balloon at a film festival in Oklahoma in the late 90s, and his work has only gotten weirder and better ever since.

Was just reminded of the time I went to a ukulele documentary at the Alamo Drafthouse and the poster said “bring your own uke for a singalong after”, but I was like “nobody’s going to do that and I don't want to look stupid” and then I was the only asshole in the entire theater without a ukulele.
My favorite way to put this, as someone who studied Classical History in actual college (not just on Twitter): If you told an ancient Roman or Athenian that his culture had "more in common" with a German or Briton than with an Egyptian or Ethiopian, he'd punch you in the throat.
