First day of gifted classes was today and my son did great. My wife decided to start rewatching Young Sheldon. It plays much differently now.

In retrospect, I wonder how comfortable Mel Gibson was with the South African white supremacists being the bad guys in Lethal Weapon II.
I watched half of Jaws II yesterday. It's like the people who wrote the screenplay had no idea why the original Jaws was successful and just went with a bunch of shark attacks. The mayor from the first one still being mayor was oddly realistic.
The reason that the Harry Potter apologists won't just read better books is because they're not looking for good stories...if they were, they wouldn't have glommed on to Harry Potter. They're looking for the camaraderie and social phenomenon that Harry Potter was in the 2000s.
It says a lot about the public perception of NXT that I’m still not one hundred percent sure this is a joke.

Re: Brubaker, Ellis, etc. Good work is good work. I don't feel duped for having bought and enjoyed good stories. HOWEVER, good work is not unique. And let it be known that producing good work does not allow for bad behavior. It is also not a shield that will prevent someone from kicking your ass.
