This right here is the purest example of the two worlds we are living in. In one a 'law enforcement officer' murdered a woman in cold blood, and in the other a group of inadequates finally got to 'teach someone a lesson' and think they now all have a licence to. Pick a world, or it will pick you.

I call on my party and my government to remove themselves entirely from X and communicate with the public where they actually participate online and can be protected from such illegality.

Yes, govt bent to pressure from MPs over the benefit cap. That's how parliamentary democracy works - and why it's a good thing. It means a leader has to carry a wider movement with them. There's a counter-pressure to the strategists in No. 10. It matters that we elect a Parliament, not just a PM.
