Painfully average white boy lefty who likes video games and anime, and maybe some other things too.

I kinda think guys who only play girl characters in things like RPGs and always make them look like dolls are mega losers. “I just think the girls have better customization” and yet you land on anime girl with exposed mid-riff and thigh windows every time while ogling any jiggle physics. Gooner.

Need to find my motivation to get into Strive and FighterZ again. I just don’t understand why the controls can’t be more consistent across the board. Like if you’re gonna have an input buffer, don’t suddenly take it away when I need to double jump to extend a combo.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 community complaining about how the MTX backlash hurt the game’s sales, but that’s fantastic news! Hope it happens to more games, even if they’re from series I like, which includes Dragon’s Dogma. MTX harming a game’s sales and reputation is only ever a good thing.

am I the only one extremely tired of seeing so much crossover content in games these days thinking it cheapens everything involved when everyone is in everything

Games looking like movies is a bad thing actually, because movies look like that for the atmosphere, and videogames need to have visuals that help you understand functionality, things that are important are supposed to stand out visually, not just look like any other hyper realistic asset

Started playing FighterZ (better late than never, I guess) and I have a suggestion on how to improve the game: when I press jump or Super Dash to extend a combo, the game actually does the thing instead of my buttons doing nothing. Everything else feels super smooth and responsive.

It’s crazy that Netflix DMC was so bad that even though all the trailers are promising excessive amounts of more Vergil, I just don’t care. That shouldn’t even be possible.

Hate the discourse around difficulty in video games. People act like there’s only baby handheld sight-seeing tour mode or hardcore perma-death fuck you sideways mode, but like just play normal mode? Simply experience the gameplay and story as intended, no handicaps or weights needed.

if charlie kirk didn't get shot the right wing would be equally and as consequentially as mad about a tv commercial or restaurant logo or something else, they're gonna do what they're gonna do regardless

Call me cynical, but I don’t think marching peacefully without disrupting anything is going to stop fascists. They know their positions are unpopular and don’t care, hence why they lie, cheat, and force their way into power. Telling them nicely that we don’t approve won’t cut it.

Standing up and dancing around while playing Clone Hero somehow gave me a power boost and let me get several new PBs instead of losing coordination. Does this count as a workout?

Damn, the DMC Netflix show is pretty stupid. Having my favorite character look directly into the character and say “It’s storming time” while his theme song plays brought back my suicidal ideation.
