as noted yesterday, Trump has now come around to treating an Iranian toll system covering the Strait of Hormuz as a given. Hard to overstate the level of strategic failure. US started the war purely as a war of choice and ends up dramatically empowering Iran and given the Iranian govt big wins.

I keep thinking about the discourse from the other day suggesting writers are gatekeeping writing information for ourselves and I just think back to 2019 when every writer was out there giving away writing advice until one by one each stopped because social media blows and we can't have nice things.

Wow, that's a blast from the past. I remember years ago someone (maybe him) saying there was footage of multiple athletes dropping dead from COVID on the field. I feel like if that was real, we would've heard about it and seen the "video reels" & I always wondered where this nonsense came from.
