It’s interesting to think a whole ass organ is gone out of my body. Like I’ve had my gallbladder out but that was a shrimp, this thing is the size of my first. I will say my stomach has flattened out a bit since then though. Amazing what kind of bloat it caused

GOOD NEWS! A new cancer treatment has demonstrated unprecedented results in a large trial for cancer patients whose disease has become resistant to chemotherapy AND immunotherapy. Tumors shrank in OVER a third of participants, with 15 patients experiencing COMPLETE eradication of their tumors.

It’s gonna be awhile before I can work on any projects, so I’ve been reposting old work. Today I slapped together this compilation of building my plush weighted Urara, since they have been keeping me company during my recovery and have been useful with their removable heated rice bag.

Well I avoided sewing all these so might as well sign up for more meticulous pain by painting every feather! I tried an alcohol marker first but the sheen looked corny so using an AK Playmarker gave a nice matte opacity 👍 Time to zone out and finish these ...

My family visited last week & it was a lot. My relationship with them is extremely complicated, but I think that was the first time that nothing had gone painful. I'm not really seen as who I am by them & having something that WAS me and something I valued looked at was...weird. #art #comic #artist

Thanks again to everyone wishing me well, love y’all. the nurses and surgeons were super chill and cool, shout-out to my healthcare workers that did a fantastic job and hung out with me and conversed, even if they held me down and gave me some punches to my stomach lol The evil has been exorcised
