not the "worst" but: "It is easy to read, except for the ‘xie’/ߴxir’ thing. Probably a neat idea, but not fully explained and as far as I can tell irrelevant to the short story as it stands. It disrupts the flow of the reading and could be done without unless it contributes in some way I missed."

If you see this, please tell me the worst/most baffling bit of creative feedback you've ever recieved. Mine is still the time somebody told me my aliens had names that were too alien. Not that they were unpronounceable, just that they didn't sound enough like human names.

1 way to get more on one's radar pretty much guaranteed to be interesting and I've always liked above 50% is back Neon Hemlock's annual novella campaign then they send you all their releases! dave ring & his team have such a good acquiring eye. & reasonably affordable if you get the ebook tier.
