Fantastic morning canvassing with my friend @dawnbutlerbrent.bsky.social for our incredible local candidate Shirin Georgiani! This by-election is crucial - it decides who runs Wandsworth. Vote Labour to stop the Tories agenda of cuts and chaos.

Keeping more money in the hands of local leaders means more investment in the things people rely on every day. Communities know what their communities need. This is another huge step towards giving mayors the tools to deliver for the people they represent.

It was a special moment taking part in The Royal Photographic Society’s The 40% Project: Celebrating Women in Parliament. I chose to have my portrait taken beside the Grunwick Strike mural to honour my constituency's trade union history and the fight for fair working conditions led by Jayaben Desai

No one should be expected to work for hours without access to a toilet. Suppose they have a heavy period? It's unacceptable that train drivers are still being let down on this. Solidarity with @aslefunion.bsky.social. Every worker deserves dignity at work. www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Who says politicians can't dance? 💃🏾 I wanted to say a huge thank you to our Councillors at Labour London Conference, so there was only one thing to do... throw a party! Thank you to all who stood in May. It was a tough election and I celebrate all you do for our communities in London. 💖

It is an honour to have been asked by the Prime Minister to serve as a Minister in the Northern Ireland Office. I will continue working hard for the people of Luton North - and look forward to supporting this government deliver the change we need.

☀️Sunshine 🤝🏾 free days out in London. Cool off at London's free open-water lido, catch a live music festival in Wembley or enjoy free outdoor theatre by the Royal Docks. As always, here are your FREE things to do in London this weekend.

There's a false choice in politics that says you can either back business or back working people. I don't accept that. We can build an economy that supports entrepreneurs, protects workers and creates prosperity that's shared more fairly. That's the future Labour should be delivering.

People want stability. People want hope. Most of all, they want a government that delivers. That's exactly what an @andyburnham.bsky.social-led Labour government is focused on. Labour values and change that people can actually feel in their everyday lives.
