A companion to the noodle thief, but this one wants something a little sweeter! Another marker color I wanted to play with, really digging these earthy tones. Bonus pic of my own long-limbed, big-eared void boy who helps inspire these creatures 🐈‍⬛

A photo of my black cat, Soba, laying on the floor near my sketchbook, which is open to two drawings of long-limbed, (colorful) black cats with similar proportions to him.

It's Textile Tuesday, and you know what that means: a piece by artist Faig Ahmed called "The Dragons of Karabakh" that's woven to look like an antique Central Asian carpet is melting off the wall into a puddle. More about the artist here: faigahmed.com

A red, blue, yellow and white work of textile art by Faig Ahmed that appears to be a traditional Central Asian carpet but is woven to look as through it's melting onto the floor in a puddle. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.

This isn't me doomer-ing, by the way. I've sorta accepted that whatever happens, happens. I'm just more open to wherever life takes me. I could be living in S. Korea in 7 years for all I know..or in Maryland or whatever. I'm just open to all options now.

I still don't know where I'll go after school. I still aim for Chicago or a city in a northern state. I am very much open to moving out of the country if it was easy for Americans but I've been trying to be more realistic.
