In response to the news here in the UK, from the transphobic/dangerous ""guidance"" the EHRC is giving, I think this piece of art by @baphypaws.bsky.social sums up my feelings pretty well. Survive out of spite!

This isn't me doomer-ing, by the way. I've sorta accepted that whatever happens, happens. I'm just more open to wherever life takes me. I could be living in S. Korea in 7 years for all I know..or in Maryland or whatever. I'm just open to all options now.

Did I get the night I wanted? No I never want to spend hours waiting on Wayne County to count votes. Did I get the results I wanted? Absolutely, there was Abdul El-Sayed, Will Lawrence, Donovan McKinney federally, along with a ton of statehouse wins including Abbas Alawieh and Chris Gilmer-Hill.
