Yep I heard you regarding Israel but I have to vote for Affordability. Do you know how much things cost. Maybe you should've bought me groceries instead of trying to buy elections
We are so cooked. This is so easy to figure out
ordering Domino’s and then blaming ChatGPT when nobody wants it
Speaking of David Berman, 7 years ago yesterday I flew to Denver to spend a week in a cabin with some of my oldest and closest friends who live all over the country. At Hopkins, my friend Jesse and I found ourselves standing next to Mike Fratello.
I encourage all of us to have the grace and focus shown in this going up within minutes of the race being called.
Got another very cool from the collection of Tom Verlaine LP today
Taking my time to really listen and learn from the very valid concerns of the MAHA movement:
we should hear MAHA out about this they might be onto something
If Stevens had made it to the general election and lost in the fall, the argument would have been that the left cost the Dems the Senate. The left is pretty used to the media narrative always being “the left is at fault.”
If sayed loses in the fall then the argument will be the left cost the Dems the senate which would be bad IMO
Progressives won three competitive congressional primaries in Michigan despite being outspent nearly 10-1. Politico didn’t get the big election night they wanted.

This was written specifically for me as a longtime Florida hater and Greece enjoyer
"We lived in the land of make believe," Jeffrey Davidson, 62, tells CNN Travel of their former home near Walt Disney World and other US theme parks. "Now we stumble over ruins that are several thousand years old in every direction." https://cnn.it/3THxRSU
People with an affectation rub me the wrong way. Gives me Elizabeth Holmes vibes. Get the hell outta here with that accent, nobody is buying it
the Michigan primary was close enough that you can pretty plausibly say it was the weird voice that lost it for Haley Stevens
Weird to see people talking about the Michigan Senate primary ending tonight. It will never end
3 years ago today I celebrated my best friend's birthday by watching Ween for (hopefully not) the last time
Big fan of this new thing IG is doing where it just doesn't post my captions
I've been addicted to these hot peppers and I eat them until my stomach hurts. I had surgery in June and couldn't eat hot foods afterwards. I had the perfect opportunity to quit them. So what did I do when I was at Meijer this weekend? Bought a jar
The Republicans want school administrators to look at your kid's genitals in order to let them play sports. That is the line Republicans need to take. Walz was right in 2024: this is weirdo freak behavior.
An initiative on the ballot in Washington state in November would require all athletes seeking to play girl's sports from kindergarten to high school to undergo "genetic screening, a testosterone-levels test, or an examination of their reproductive anatomy" before they can play
I was recently reminded of Jeopardy by the Greg Kihn band thanks to the greatest radio station in the world, 106.7 Zeppelin out of Athens, Greece. This song is so fucking good I can't believe it's been kind of forgotten to history
Can't think of a thing that will radicalize a generation faster than "you've gotta let that old man in the corner over there see what's inside those pants before you play Kindergarten volleyball."

I gave a friend some original American Splendor issues for his birthday last year and he was almost moved to tears
It's a tragedy that American Splendor, this foundational work of 30 years worth of comics, is available only in close-out bins at cons & comics shops. Harvey died 16 years ago. Joyce died in 2024. Who owns the rights to that material is in dispute. With each passing year the work fades from memory.
I feel bad for anyone who wasn't a teenager on August 3, 1996
the Billboard Modern Rock chart from 30 years ago today — August 3, 1996.
similarly, I remember when an artist would release a single on the radio but their CD wasn’t out yet, the only way you could hear it would be to catch it on the radio or, if they made a music video, to come across it playing on MTV/VH1. it used to make hearing those songs hit like heroin
it’s pretty obvious that a lot of people remember that COVID lockdowns were unpleasant and from there just extrapolate that they were therefore bad policy
How many times is this war going to end? It's like he just likes the 30 minutes of credit he gets every time
BREAKING Trump says new talks with Iran to begin Monday
If they can acknowledge it’s fascism so can the media
