it is not "irresponsible" to criticize art made by trans people. frankly, we would be in a much better place as artists and writers if we could have real negative criticism instead of just friends of filmmakers being the only ones to review their work.

When I see this sort of anti-trans rhetoric, it translates into my mind "Will fuck over a minority if it's expedient for me politically." And there are way too many Democrats who still live in that space.
