A side-by-side comparison of proposed bike facilities in the 2024 plan vs. the 2026 plan illustrates how the latest plans will leave a gap in bike facilities through Mattapan Square, complicating access to and from the Neponset River Greenway:

seems like if you're gonna do a neighborhood plan, and then plow ahead with projects that don't include as a project goal implementing the plan, then you should either reconsider the project or scrap the plan

Given these project goals, and that it's funded by a Federal discretionary grant (SS4A), seems like it's a looooongshot that they're implementing planned PBLs here.

Hey Massholes - Go vote! We have a lot of contested primary races today; many will be decided by hundreds if not dozens of votes.

This was supposed to have 125 subsidized affordable units. This is why zoning approval needs to be by-right, without review. You sometimes get worse outcomes, yes, but if you require review NIMBYs are far more likely to win, so overall the outcomes are better.

This is good bike parking. It has angular tubing, which prevents the quiet use of pipe cutters for theft. The racks are also spaced far enough apart to allow for larger bikes to be parked with room for the rider to maneuver while on foot. Also, this is entrance-adjacent to the building.
