Another way of celebrating National Merry-Go-Round Day is with a House of Mystery story titled "Then Beggars Could Ride" I wrote back in the late '70s about wooden horses who come to life and wreak vengeance on the crook who killed the owner of their carousel. Yikes, that was a long time ago!

A panel from my story "Then Beggars Could Ride," with art by Noly Panaligan, which ran in House of Mystery #264 (January 1979). It depicts a criminal leaping onto a moving carousel loaded with kids.
HIS THOUGHT BALLOONS: "I don't get caught that easy, buddy! Time for a carousel escape!"

If you are the DOJ, it is unprecedented to lose 17 straight voting cases in 17 different courts without winning a single one. It's even more remarkable when 8 of them were decided by judges appointed by Trump. How long will the networks ignore this? How long will Trump?
