Decoy Font, a TTF that hides what you're typing from AI. Really cool experiment! www.mixfont.com/experiments/...
Decoy Font: A TTF font that hides what you type
Decoy Font combines every letter with a decoy, making it harder for AI to read what you type. Type a message to try it out or download the TTF directly.

Just bought my ticket to go to DEFCON next month! I'm going solo and it's my first time so I'm super excited but ngl, I'm also a little bit scared 😅

It's funny how now that I've been learning to play the drums for about 8 months, I watch live music differently like "I could do that" 😂 and now I kinda wanna be in a band 🤔🥁
Haven't had much time to celebrate pride month this year but trying to show up for the last few days. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈

You think you have nothing to hide? Okay, but, do you know how much about you a webpage can track, without even asking for permissions? Take a look at taken:

Didn't make it to the summit yesterday but still got to see a gorgeous sunrise 🌄 We started really well, making great time but 3h into it, the steepness got my legs tired earlier than I expected and I knew I didn't have enough energy to do 5-6h more hours to the summit + all the way back down 😞
Gear and layering check before my 2-day climb of Mt Shasta! 🏔️ The weather is amazing so hopefully we make it to the summit! 🤞🏻
For my art lovers: The Last Museum is a search engine for museum art, with over 5 million of artworks indexed. You can search by theme, style, subject, vibe and more. lastmuseum.com/search?q=cats
Reposting for my US friends (aka: late risers 🤷), we launched ffconf.org/feeds/ - from our previous 118 speakers, then found their RSS feeds and you can browse their posts AND make your own OPML export so you can curate your own content.
On my way to Seattle for @cascadiajs.com, I asked the pilot for a trading card and I'm so excited, I feel like a child 😂
Next #btconf Düsseldorf video is up. @html5test.com with his talk "The Web Beyond the Edges of the Browser Window". Here is a little blog post about it. Thanks Niels ;) beyondtellerrand.com/blog/btconf-...

watching the tech industry burn out all the people i know who actually care about delivering things that aren’t perpetually broken, all at the altar of infinite velocity, is making me utterly utterly furious.

It's been raining a lot in Grindelwald but I managed to make the best of the little bit of good weather!
While I am on the road for #acs26 and doing post-event stuff for #btconf in parallel, I also started working on the videos. 🤪 Here is the first one with Kimya Gandhi and “The Act of Pressing a Key: The Journey of a Letterform on to Your Screen” youtu.be/jSBoXCsCyNI

And for #2, it’s absolutely true that AI can be fantastic learning tool, but it can only answer the questions that you know to ask. There’s a vast ocean of knowledge out there, and until you become an expert, it's hard to tell which parts are important (or true, for that matter 😅).
I love when I rehearse a new talk and I end up feeling super hyped by my own stuff 😂. Excited for Uphill conf next week!
