"FFConf 2026 is live: Things I Learnt" - I thought I'd post some of the things I learnt (and yes, I appreciate I've been under a rock whilst CSS was evolving), but also share the where the design inspiration came from for this year's @ffconf.org look: remysharp.com/2026/06/22/f...

One thing that I cannot understate about my experience attending @ffconf.org is that it really reignited my excitement about programming. I've always enjoyed it, but some of my energy and motivation has dissipated over time. Now I have so many things I want to make, I can't decide what to do first!
Second time attending @ffconf.org and enjoyed all the talks, especially "Powerless by Design" by Chetan Padia, "Web Components" by Hannah Clarke, "Six to Sixteen: A Child’s Programming Language," and "The Good Internet" by Sacha Judd.
Sacha Judd's #ffconf talk was one full of nostalgia for me. Fandom was my first online community 💗 and it's such a rich subculture of the internet. Was fab hearing all about @archiveofourown.org and many other incarnations of online fandom spaces being talked about at a web conf! @ffconf.org
thank you #ffconf you are such a great crowd. here’s the text and slides to the talk (it’s a directors cut bc it has 20 mins more than the original version!) 1/2 www.sachajudd.com/the-good-int...

It's all systems go behind the scenes. Lanyards grouped (by name) and packed. Food purchased and delivered. Stickers, badges and more being picked up. Then this evening we meet our speakers and thank them with food, then one sleep to go!
If you’ve wanted to go to #ffconf but couldn’t afford it, I have a ticket spare going. Much rather it got used. ( my week’s focus got changed. 😞) Ping me.
Wondering how using AI coding tools impacts how we learn technical skills? Good news: @rivea0.bsky.social and I are giving a talk about this at @ffconf.org in Brighton on the Nov 14th! There's still a few tickets left if you've been meaning to come along and say hello!
