Lane Johnson is a Hall of Fame offensive lineman. He has done things purely on the power of his mind that would leave Stephen A. Smith crying. I think Smith would do well to ensure he and Johnson are never in the same room.

"Hey, Spike! You know that wholly malevolent force for ruin that inexorably fouls everything it touches? Would you like me to set up a meeting with it so it can destroy everything you've poured your life into for the past 20 years, in the name of sick, hollow profit? No charge! 🥰"

The absolute damnedest thing about the bean-counters: their ignorance of the impact of small margins. Small margin impact to overall revenue stream is beneath their macro notice, but that small margin is HUGE for individual creators. It's the silent evil of private equity and media consolidation.

1,000% this! Also, and I say this as a person who has many comics on Marvel Unlimited, this will impact the revenue stream of creators. Daredevil: Unleash Hell was removed from digital, and that impacts the bottom line of the creators of that book, myself included.

Just to be clear, this isn't much different from what he wrote in Dobbs. To which Justices Breyer, Sotomayor and Kagan aptly responded: "This is to ignore as judges what we know as men and women. The interests women have in Roe and Casey are perfectly, viscerally concrete." [2]

John Roberts' friend and defender is quoted in the piece, saying they shouldn't be shaming Roberts for the wreckage and ruin he's brought to this country because of "civility." The bullies always cry "civility" when the victims push back in the slightest.

Public anger comes for John Roberts The chief justice’s summer retreat in Maine used to be one of boating, potluck dinners, touch football and easy friendships. Locals called him “John.” Now a swirl of anger has been rising at him, transforming his getaways. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/01/u...
