I'll always remember when my work first got Microsoft Teams and it came with Swear Trek emotes. That was a fantastic day.

The constant, relentless bombardment by political campaigns is exhausting - I've been averaging 10+ calls a day and 10+ texts a day. Increasingly I just treat them like the spam that they are. Just because it is easy to call people, maybe you should think about whether you should. #Providence

As a former professional football player, I can confidently say that this essay is incorrect from every conceivable angle, and contributes heavily to the culture of toxic masculinity that still infests high schools and colleges across the country.

This girl I used to waitress with in Austin, we moved to New York together in 2003 on a literal Greyhound bus. Shared a fifth floor walk-up studio that, when it rained, had more leaks in the ceiling than we had pots and pans. We used to get drunk and smoke off the fire escape and do “sad-offs.”

I started my PhD program with an eight week old at home, sole income being my doctoral stipend, in a history program, in Knoxville, TN. And every month we got a new book to read to my son, free, mailed to us, so my kid, my kids, grew up in rooms full of books even when I had no money. That's Dolly.

She put so much good into the world. I fear some people will try to turn the world's love for her into their own personal spotlight to bask in her rightful glory.
