Proud to share that @GoogleDevExpert has extended my recognition as a Performance expert for a 5th year. Thankful for the trust and excited to continue contributing to the dev community in 2026.
Hey 👋 two weeks ago I had the chance to speak again in one of my favorite events of the year Performance.sync() Here is the recording of my talk It’s always great to participate in such a insightful event and meet all those perf experts in one place ❤️ #webperf youtu.be/TWomRHSevgc
I am so happy and honored to be speaking at Performance.sync() meetup for the 2nd time, medhat.dev/talks#perfor... FYI: if you don't know it yet, it is a highly respected free meetup prior to the @perfnow.nl which is full of perf enthusiasts 🚀 cannot wait to meet everyone #PerfNow

I've been thinking about migrating away from @vercel.com for a long time but this seals the deal. @render.com already hosts quite a lot of the State of surveys infrastructure, I'm sure it'll handle the Next.js apps just fine. x.com/rauchg/statu...
fuck vercel, fuck Next.js, fuck Svelte, fuck Turborepo, fuck SWR, fuck SWC Posing with the architect of a genocide for sales leads is an insane and deeply immoral stance these projects cannot separate themselves from the CEO of the company who funds them

Excited to share that I'll be in Berlin 🇩🇪 next week to speak at the @wearedevelopers.bsky.social conference! Looking forward to connecting with fellow developers and tech enthusiasts — hope to see you there! www.wearedevelopers.com/world-congre...
These past couple of weeks have been hard. I lost my dad, and everything has felt different since. I’ve kept going, mostly through work, but outside of that… it has been hard to engage. I’m not back to full speed, and maybe I won’t be for a while. But I’m ready to reconnect. Slowly, honestly.
Two weeks ago, I had the honor to speak at one of my fav conferences in Amsterdam @devworldconference.bsky.social The vibes were so good and I gathered a very nice feedback on my talk, stay tuned and I will share the recording once they make it available 😉
Ramadan Mubarak to everyone 🌙 I hope this month brings you peace, health, and spiritual fulfillment
Attending the first day and the vibes are already on 🚀 any one here attending too?
Keep in mind that the more sizes you include, the less likely you are to get a cache hit which can be worse for performance than a slightly mis-sized image. For example, there isn't enough of a difference between 600 and 640 px to make it worth that difference.
I am super excited to share that I will speak at @devworldconference.bsky.social in Amsterdam RAI on the 28th of Feb 🎉 My talk will be as usual about web performance, especially "Speculation Rules: how to load pages by thinking" with a live Demo to instantly load pages online, don't miss it out ;)
Today is the day for me to speak about #speculationrules
