This is https://transdiffusion.org/, the independent broadcasting authority since 1964. A huge collection of television, radio & advertising archives, articles and more.

Back from being proofread! I need to give it another once-over for my own satisfaction/paranoia, and then I can look at how much printing and posting will cost and then start a month-long fundraiser. Might actually arrive on doorsteps before Christmas! Imagine!

It's easy (and fun!) to criticise Edmonds, but the way he handles the studio audience here once the cameras are officially off, and how he facilitates the studio guest being well served, are a masterclass in how to deal with these disasters. But as Jon hints: the meetings after can only be imagined.

Speaking of which, I’m glad this is online again. Fairly rare example from this era of NHP of the wheels completely falling off what was normally a very slick show youtu.be/z7kmhyO6pkI?...

1961: Rediffusion, Granada, STV, TWW, Anglia, TTT, Southern, Ulster and Westward break the strike by ATV staff at Elstree. ABC… less so, bless ‘em. It warms the cockles of my little socialist heart, even though they did it for arch capitalist reasons.

Throughout this Saturday evening the Company was heartened to know that all the other programme contractors supported ATV andtransmitted its programmes except ABC Television which decided to put out its own re-arranged programming.

Coming soon (by which we don't mean 'imminently', so take a breath): our latest print project. Probably going to be expensive, even though it's being done for cost without any profit. Somewhere between £25 and £30, about 230 pages, 21x28cm, softback. Made by humans with no AI.
