I'm not going to say much about this but it is definitely baffling to find out from manhwa fans online raising an uproar that tapas is getting shut down of all places and not like. my editors. I don't know what to do but laugh
Had time and energy to work on this Paleo Ghost concept for Sonder based on my piece of petrified wood! Once I knock a few of these commissions from my queue I'll def be polishing this and using it as an alt design to play with

if you ever struggle with names when worldbuilding just remember there's a whole massive mountain range called The Rockies
in light of the news about tapas shutting down and the (rightful!!!) recommendations for comicfury as a platform, i also implore you to donate to comicfury’s patreon to help it keep running! it’s run by a single person and a very dedicated team and i’d like to see them continue to do their work 💛
I must once again emphasize that if you are putting art on the internet, you need your own website in case some fucking management ghoul decides the platform they paid too much money for isn't worth how much they paid for it

What frustrates me about Mama Hong discussions is I'm not saying "I don't want more plus-sized characters" because I think Overwatch has consistently dropped the ball there for it's entire 10-year run (in the sense there's been nothing past launch). It's that I do not want *her,* specifically.
Introducing Canberra Furry Market, a brand new event taking place in the ACT! We are still ironing out the details, but we have a dedicated team working hard to get this going! Our goal is to run a one-day dealers den style event in Spring of next year. More info coming soon!
It was exactly ten years ago today, on my 33rd birthday, that I posted this comic online.

blizzard workers had to fight tooth and nail for years, but they finally did it: they secured a union contract not just for one team, but for all unionized units--warcraft, overwatch, diablo, and more
![“We really started mobilizing as one Blizzard unit in [the] last couple of months, and I think that really helped put the pressure on,” Paul Cox, senior game designer on World of Warcraft, told Aftermath.
"I feel like the company dragged its feet and did a lot of posturing and wasting time until the very, very last moment."
Prior to spring of this year, the WoW team, which unionized in 2024, had gotten the lion's share of bargaining time. Other units found themselves stuck in the mud. Higher-ups were effectively stalling the whole process—unfortunately nothing new for unionized workers under Microsoft’s umbrella.
"For this whole year of bargaining on the Diablo side—and I imagine on the rest of the units as well—we received so few [bargaining] dates, but we kind of had the understanding that whatever WoW was able to win would at least influence and set the floor for the rest of our units,” Diablo senior environment artist Mahreen Fatima told Aftermath. “We adopted this messaging about how WoW's wins are our wins, so we should be out there mobilizing with them. But truly, I feel like the company dragged its feet and did a lot of posturing and wasting time until the very, very last moment this last month to finally be able to say, 'OK, yes, we are willing to extend this contract to everyone.' We really did not have any indication that we could get this done until last month."](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:5gdejlhcswjbzraadoltdpps/bafkreih6u6gzajbd63dovnmlnc43z5g6i35d3n735rrdkopipyjopkl72e)
