Kipclip 🐔

@kipclip.com

Kipclip.com is a simple, open bookmarks app for the AT Protocol. Made by @tijs.org, press: https://kipclip.com/press, support: https://atprotofans.com/support/did:plc:3zzkrrjtsmo7nnwnvhex3auj status: https://kipclip.status.larm.dev/

v0.24.27 is now out. This one fixes an issue with the duplicate bookmark warning being too aggressive. It's now smarter about it and will not trigger when you're just trying to bookmark different video's (thanks @feliciarondo.com) and only ignore tracking tags (e.g. ?utm_source= and it's ilk)

v0.24.25 of kipclip is out which fixes an issue where bookmark deletions would not be visible in kipclip, even though they were deleted from your PDS. It specifically impacted some users who moved PDS accounts after which updates were no longer synced completely. Should now be resolved!

Thanks to @samantha.wiki we discovered an issue with our new setup, now fixed! Bookmark updates would not always be synced to our local mirror. So records would be on your PDS (we always write there first) but not in the kipclip UI (we don't read from PDS directly to prevent rate limits). Go kip it!

Ok so I think the dust on the new architecture with Tap triggering update actions is settled for now. So time for a nice new quality of life improvement. There is now a separate search bar for navigating your tags and it will highlight the last few tags you interacted with under a Recent heading

Screenshot of the Kipclip bookmarking web app in a desktop browser. The interface is split into two columns. On the left is a light gray sidebar titled “Tags” with “1653 tags” beside it, a coral “+ Create Tag” button, a search field, and a list of tags including “app,” “skills,” “abtesting,” and “accessibility.” At the top is the Kipclip logo with a small chicken icon and navigation tabs for “Bookmarks” and “Reading List,” with “Bookmarks” selected. On the right, a section titled “Your Bookmarks” shows “3048 bookmarks,” display controls, a search field, and a vertical list of saved links including “Solod,” “Wokwi - World’s most advanced ESP…,” “Trust, Then Verify,” and “media.ccc.de.”

@atprotofans.com should I expect to see the payments/payouts in the graze social dashboard too because currently my funding is not showing up there? and since the amounts are not in the records or api results is there any way to get some sort of overview from that, or is something like that planned?

We just lifted Kip and moved her to a new home in Nuremberg, Germany! Our service is now EU hosted on Hetzner servers 🇪🇺 this made it possible to use Bsky’s Tap for record updates and backfill like a proper atproto Appview. It also makes some upcoming improvements in the backend of things possible.

Small kipclip.com convenience feature just dropped 🥚 When you tap a tag in the bookmarks list it will now activate the filter for that tag so you can get a quick overview of related bookmarks.

Screenshot of a bookmarks web app showing a filtered view. The header reads “Your Bookmarks – 7 of 3094 bookmarks.” A search/filter field contains “tag:oauth tag:atproto,” with two active tag chips labeled “atproto” and “oauth.”

Below, a list of saved links is displayed as cards. The first item is a bsky.app link with tags “atproto” and “oauth” and a date (29/04/2026). The second item is titled “Building End-to-End OAuth for Bluesky: From Cloudflare Workers to iOS,” linking to a blog post, also tagged “atproto” and “oauth.” The third item is “Official ATProto OAuth Client,” linking to an npm package, with the same tags.

In the top-right corner are buttons labeled “Select” and a prominent “+ Add Bookmark.” The layout is clean, with light backgrounds and rounded cards.

Two reviews on @atstore.fyi already! I love it, and keep em coming of course we love to get feathers in our butt (in Dutch ‘veren in je reet’ means getting praise, I’m not making this up look it up) 🪶🍑🐔

Just published my first review on @atstore.fyi. Been using @kipclip.com instead of Pinboard lately and it's nice. I love that it uses community lexicons for the bookmarks schema. Nice work @tijs.org! atstore.fyi/products/kip...
