The internet runs on creativity. We help you support it.

Private data is needed for some of these things (including the role FB marketplace / Buy Nothing Groups play in communities) @atprotofans.com and other work by @ngerakines.me points towards some public payments flows. But really? Needs someone with a plan to build & grow their product vision.

Part four of our "Building Recurring Payments in Public" series where close out to talk about brokers and their role in this model. We want to "lock open" and set the example for other services that want to operate this way.

Recurring payments is a complex set of features with development and user experience questions mingled together. This is something that I have a lot of experience with, so I've written a small series to go along with the engineering plan.

Attestations (proof records) are a core component of supporter records. This morning we GA'd high-five.atprotofans.com and opened the code to show what building your own brokers looks like. Hop on and give someone a high-five to see it in action.

This morning lit up high-five.atprotofans.com, a high-five powered attestation broker that uses virtual high-fives in place of money exchanges. This is a fast follow-up to @atprotofans.com as an open-source Go project that demonstrates ATProtocol OAuth and attestations / proof records.

I wonder if this might be interesting for me. I know I'm small and only do weekly posts, but I do have a few people that have supported me directly before, which is great for motivation. Currently using Buy Me a Coffee. Will look at this too.
