Airglow

@airglow.run

Automations for the AT Protocol https://airglow.run Built by @there-hugo.dev 🇪🇺

Airglow's automation engine got a big rework. Automations are now composed of steps you can arrange in any order: conditions, loops, fetches, variables, and actions. Two highlights: real if/else branching, and loops that can chain several steps per item. 🧵

Airglow has a new brand 🎨 We worked with a brand designer to give it a proper identity and a more polished feel. New logo, refreshed site, updated everywhere. Long time coming. Really happy with where it landed

Rocksky now has a new lexicon: app.rocksky.actor.status Your status now updates automatically on every track change. You may need to logout/login again to accept the new OAuth permission required for this lexicon.

Amazing! Thanks for nerd sniping me, @byjp.me. I got to work on two great new features on Airglow: - Scheduled Actions - JSON Patch for deep updates Games are definitely a great place to experiment and innovate, I think this will unlock many possibilities!

In a span less than the day, @byjp.me got a Creator Account, made these sweet custom headphones with nice animation and then built personal tooling to have them auto-update on his sprite whenever he's listening to music. Maybe even found an improvement to the .generator system!? Crazy, but FUN!!

@byjp.me custom heaphone sprite that activates when he's listening to music.

Airglow is ready for it ✅ bsky.app/profile/esb.... The "Post to Bluesky" action will automatically populate the new "associatedRefs" field for @standard.site documents

✨ Atmosphere devs ✨ Bluesky is integrating Standard Site, and our initial work should be released in the next few days. Here's what that means for publishers and apps in the ecosystem: github.com/bluesky-soci... If you have questions or comments, please leave them on the GitHub Discussion thread!

Spend another evening fixing a bug regarding OAuth sessions expiration. It should be good now. As a bonus, you can now see all auth related activity in the "Security" page on the dashboard

The security logs page shows sign in/out, session creation, renewal, etc

Currently deploying an important change in the architecture that will enable our server(s) to scale in the future and handle more events. Airglow we'll also have graceful shutdowns, making sure it doesn't miss events when the server restarts. Wish me luck

oh yeah. this is working. with @airglow.run I now have my likes with links auto bookmarked on @semble.so , and then @treethought.xyz 's beta Atmosphere Obsidian plugin pulls them into an easily accessible list - I no longer need to paste links into one dump file. Excellent.

Airglow can now loop over array data inside any record. Concrete example: like a Bluesky post → bookmark every link in it on Margin, Semble, kipclip, etc. Three reusable automations live now: airglow.run/automations?...

PSA: if you are using Airglow, you might need to sign in again to reset your OAuth token. The refresh logic wasn't properly implemented

@airglow.run + page.parts (tba @awarm.space) + @standard.site + Semble connections = community knowledge gardening at scale 🤯

@semble.so I run a very link-focused newsletter called @3-3.fyi. It would be cool if in addition to the newsletter, we could post our issue to Semble and have that issue have "leads to" connections for each of our six links. Would there be a smoother way to do this instead of manually? Like batches?
