Fantastically interesting piece about the vast range of people lining up - for reasons beyond energy bills - against data centres in the US. Well worth your time. If we want Europe to move off big tech towards our own compute (as FOTI do), we should insist on sovereign AND sustainable cloud, now.

I gave birth in an NHS hospital during this period and am angry about the midwifery care we received to this day. Anyone who claims there was no cultural drive in this period against pain relief, against 'medicalised' birth, is gaslighting.

🚨 Amos did find evidence of normal birth impacting patient safety. Her own experts agreed the wording only for Amos to unilaterally change it prompting Kirkup to resign.
