I’m so fucking tired of AI. I work in a big tech company and everyone is forced to use AI every day. We have to use it for everything: writing, coding, testing, resolving issues. A recent mandate was to make agents run overnight. They can’t have human slaves, so they’re making AI slaves.

I’m so much enjoying playing Pump It Up every Friday now. I wonder how every other player I see is so good? All of them play up to difficulty 15. Where are noobs like me (I can play 6-8)? And they all hold the bar. I wonder why?

Official disclaimer: I used GenAI for some routine tasks in ChipNomad. I’m stopping it and openly admit my mistake. Using AI in a niche project was not right. If that turns you away from my project, I can only understand and apologize. There will be no more AI use in ChipNomad.

Instead of using AI to help you make chiptune trackers, I recommend finding community in like-minded devs to help you do that. Seemed to work pretty well for the Furnace Tracker folks.

Yesterday I noticed that my iMac CPU is very hot. It turned out I had an old broken MySQL which was stuck in crash-restart loop consuming a whole CPU core. I wonder if it was like that for whole 2 years since I got this machine and migrated from an old MBP?
