“Magic still suffused them, glittering like motes of light-reminders of Solsulien’s lingering influence. It should have been comforting, but instead, it merely filled him with dread.” Catherine Yeates’ “Epiphany at the Temple of the Shadow Goddess” is live! www.dreamtheory.media/epiphany-at-...

Epiphany at the Temple of the Shadow Goddess

by Catherine Yeates  Steam poured off the seared edges of the columns that littered the temple floor. Brother Anselzar stepped carefully through the wreckage, his long robes trailing over the rubble....

The Artemis II astronauts return from their historic 10-day mission around the moon. Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Jeremy Hansen, and Reid Wiseman became the first humans to travel toward the moon in more than 50 years, and set a new record for the farthest distance ever traveled from Earth.

Yesterday was a VERY good Arsenal win and plenty of people are not giving it the credit it deserves, mostly because they're selling Sporting well short. A potent combination of engagement-driven negative Arsenal narrative and non-big 5 league / non-glamor club disrespect.

Until facing Arsenal, Sporting had: Won 17-straight matches at home in all comps, a club record (last home draw on Oct. 5 and loss in August). Won every home CL match, incl. against PSG. Had only been held scoreless once in all comps (1st leg away against Bodo). Hadn't been shut out at home.

It’s been so long since I posted any #art & I just haven’t been able to get back to my iPad yet, so I finished this Procreate Pocket doodle of Cesare (Conrad Veidt) from THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI (1920), drawn on my iPhone with my right index finger. I’m pretty happy with it given the constraints.

A drawing of sleepwalker Cesare from the silent film THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI (1920) as played by Conrad Veidt, drawn in black and white on an iPhone with Procreate Pocket. He stares at you with heavily blackened eyes, thick eyebrows, and sort of a bowl cut hairdo.
