Seeing "trans kids given deadline to segregate themselves" and "trans women banned from yet another part of society" headlines *every single day* while everyone you know and every organization stays breathtakingly silent takes such a damn toll on your heart.
is it a neurodivergent thing for people to laugh when you describe things accurately and they're like hahaha that's funny and i'm like wow i was trying to convey information
if someones like 'i dont think chuck tingle is funny' i am always like 'bud i dont think im funny either' and in that moment they are SO CLOSE. but i think NEXT step is hardest, to look at YOURSELF and think 'WHY do i, a good left leaning buckaroo, assume queer neurodivergent art is an ironic gag?'
not a single person has wondered whether dolly's life had any meaning because she didn't have any kids. it's almost like your legacy is about what YOU do with your time here.
