recently i've been able to go back and listen to some of my earliest, greatest musical influences (that were mostly unavailable online in high fidelity) for the first time in like 15yrs and it's been a super emotional time listening back through.

my very first experience working on a game was on mass effect andromeda. i was interning at sony and they let me do some music edits for some cutscenes, and i distinctly remember how special that felt. heartbroken for the countless devs that just wanted to work hard, make art, and make a living :(

I really loved the sound of the stage speakers echoing off the canyon. Were the game's effects done with Unity's programmable audio filters? I remember those helped a lot with per-emitter effects not commonly seen in games. Or is it using middleware?
