I’ve been playing a lot of Commander, mostly with a Chatterfang deck. For the unfamiliar - Chatterfang generates 1/1 squirrel tokens, which can attack, or be sacrificed for useful effects. I’ve been drawing my own squirrels mid-game to reflect the mood of their summoning. This started out normal

Six weeks since Game Worlds opened - a lifetime, a millisecond. For so long, this show only existed to me, Bethan, and a handful of others, - and now it belongs to thousands of you as well. Thank you to everyone who has visited so far - the response has been unfathomable 💘✨ 📸: Matto Lucas

This conversation with Maddy and Noel about the making, speedrunning & impact of Celeste was an absolute delight - one of the most interesting conversations about game dev, with genuinely two of the nicest people I've ever met. I'm going to be thinking about this one for ages ❤️

Gonna jump in here with some blatant self-promotion, but I'm damn proud of our content this year. We try cover as much as possible among Australian indies - predominantly reviews, but have a great series of interviews and a few event round-ups/opinion pieces.

Silksong is really amplifying my sorrow about the death of critical games culture. I’m so desperate for critical writing, personal reflection, cultural analysis, meandering vibe-based takes - anything other than reporting on sales. And I don’t even know where to read it, let alone pitch it myself

what use is your moral purity and queer anger if it achieves the exact same outcome our oppressors are gunning for? building things takes work, so much more work than preserving what we already have. if we tear down every imperfect tool we'll have nothing
