so excited to finally be able to announce we're bringing new restorations of Akihiro Suzuki's groundbreaking Y2K queer pink film LOOKING FOR AN ANGEL (1999) and its tragically underseen follow-up ANGEL'S BODY TEMPERATURE (2001) to Australia for the first time.
Akihiro Miwa is a legend. Fukasaku's Black Lizard and Black Rose Mansion are both incredible heaters, Miwa just devours every scene. Here's the scene where you get to see Miwa turn Yukio Mishima into a human statue. Best bond villain in history.
