as much as Spielberg is synonymous with like, Normal Movies, he doesn’t really mess around with character arcs, acts, etc. His films are more like long strings of schmaltzy, expertly choreographed spectacles which abruptly end. They have a weird energy to them!

LOVE ETERNAL was selected for the BFI London International Filmfest— it’s available to play during the fest from this beautiful chair, which also faces the wall of a massive weird underground basin hung with dripping ivy. a real honor!!

if youve known me for any length of time you have heard me bemoan the death of flash and with it the flash game ethos. i’m currently playing love eternal and this game is exactly the sort of thing i was talking about. long live the action puzzle platformer

I picked up Love Eternal and completed it in about 4 hours. It's a cool 2d platformer/horror, with some with gorgeous art and haunting music. The story is abstract and subversive, the gameplay is extremely difficult, but I really enjoyed it overall.
