I think it's okay for people who advocate for AI to feel unwelcome around me, talking to me, or interacting with me at all. That means it's working.

the "you can't avoid AI, it's in all software now" argument might be true for infrastructure, where we have limited agency over the platforms and systems that make up our society, but is hilariously untrue for video games, a completely optional and easily ignored part of all of our lives

No clankers, all artists. Generative AI is NOT inevitable. We can choose not to engage and that’s exactly what we do at Causeway and Strange Scaffold. Anyone who tells you we should give up and give in are traitors to our art and craft.
