I’m so incredibly happy I did the MegaPlex Photos; these are just some of the photos, and they came out incredible! Bastille the Butler is truly talented, and I can’t wait to do them again next year and have more fun. Highly encourage it if you missed out; don’t next year.

🚨New study reveals killing wolves did not reliably prevent subsequent livestock damage. In some cases livestock losses actually increased after they were lethally removed. If killing wolves doesn’t reliably prevent future conflict, why is it still being used as a solution? 🔗 https://bit.ly/4x4hCNQ

Study: Shooting Wolves Barely Protects Livestock

Five field studies compared: killing wolves mostly does not prevent livestock losses. In some cases the number of kills even rises afterwards.

While business cards cost money, I feel like this is one of those 'go ahead and spend the money on it' expenses as a small business. Yeah, don't let someone walk away with a handful but we shouldn't be discouraging people from taking a business card, that's legit what they're for?

if you're at a con, please do not pick up a business card as a conciliatory motion. They cost *MONEY* i did cons forever ago but my whole stack would vanish and it resulted in basically nothing. i dont blame people for doing QR codes or links instead of cards, its rough enough out here.

i want a day off... but my PTO is precious and I want to use it in a block.... ... but this weekend shows if i don't take a day off, my health will just get dragged down. I'd just sleep on my day off, which seems like a waste of a day off.

Not that I need to be more obsessed with the past (and god knows no one really thought of taking photos of such mundane stuff in the 80s and 90s), but, yeah, I really wish I had photos of the bedroom I grew up in, the schools I attended, even just the directory/map of Century III Mall in, like, 1989

My biggest advice for youngsters: take pictures of the places that matter to you. Your home, your bedroom, your classrooms, the stores you frequent, etc. You'll probably have plenty of pictures of the people in your life, but the spaces change and disappear, and they're a wonder to revisit.
