This is so interesting because it speaks directly to the way the queer community was utterly destroyed by AIDS in the 80s. We have so few elder gays now. In a way, the furry fandom is a vanguard of what it will mean to be an older queer person over the next 50 years.

While business cards cost money, I feel like this is one of those 'go ahead and spend the money on it' expenses as a small business. Yeah, don't let someone walk away with a handful but we shouldn't be discouraging people from taking a business card, that's legit what they're for?

They cost *MONEY* i did cons forever ago but my whole stack would vanish and it resulted in basically nothing. i dont blame people for doing QR codes or links instead of cards, its rough enough out here.
i want a day off... but my PTO is precious and I want to use it in a block.... ... but this weekend shows if i don't take a day off, my health will just get dragged down. I'd just sleep on my day off, which seems like a waste of a day off.

Your home, your bedroom, your classrooms, the stores you frequent, etc. You'll probably have plenty of pictures of the people in your life, but the spaces change and disappear, and they're a wonder to revisit.
