It's only possible to start worrying about continuity once you have writing so that you can compare multiple versions. Legends of gods and monsters date from well, well before writing. Gods and monsters come from the subconscious of the human race. Writing was invented to manage bureaucracies.

Watching the GTA thing and the guy is getting non stop head shots on all the enemies. It looks so smooth and slick. It will be a very different story when I’m flailing about, missing every shot and failing every mission while crying, and having to listen to the interminable driving dialogue again.

What Dolly taught us is that it is in fact possible to be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams of avarice but still be a fundamentally good person with a strong moral compass, and the only reason more rich people aren't like that is because they don't want to be.

We *can* all do something (not spark wildfires, for example). But asking individual citizens to solve systemic problems is peak neo-liberalism. Not watering our gardens isn’t going to fix pipes or build reservoirs. Government needs to do more than ban barbecues and send scary alerts. NOW.

The UK Government will keep granting new oil & gas licenses and won't legislate to restrict the bad practices of utility companies (including water waste). But no sure; it's a family having a BBQ that are the real monsters here 🙄

Today's "severe alert" from the UK government putting the blame for the wildfires on people having BBQs rather than successive government's supporting fossil fuel interests

I finally made it to the Power Up!, a hands-on video gaming exhibition at the Manchester Science & Industry Museum where Plok! is one of the exhibits under the banner "Manchester Made".
