Our first HUPO Single Cell Initiative benchmarking study is out! 🎉 7 labs, 2 continents, 2 instrument platforms, 6 DIA tools - working toward reproducible, comparable single-cell proteomics. Code + processed data available now, raw data coming soon.

Defining Quality Control Standards for Single-Cell Proteomics by Inter-Laboratory Benchmarking

Single-cell proteomics can quantify thousands of proteins from individual mammalian cells, yet the absence of community-wide quality control limits biological interpretability. Here, the HUPO Single C...

Excited to share our preprint introducing ASHI: the Atlas of SLiM-mediated Human protein-protein Interactions. By screening 800+ domains against the human intrinsically disordered regions, we map 20,000 SLiM-mediated interactions. Many thanks to everyone involved! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

An Atlas of Short Linear Motif-Mediated Human Protein-Protein Interactions

Short linear motifs (SLiMs) within intrinsically disordered protein regions mediate transient interactions crucial for cell physiology. However, the global interaction landscape of human SLiMs remains...

The Thermo Fisher situation keeps getting worse. We've now collected 450+ problematic images presented as verification data in TF's antibody catalog. This includes: 🖌️ Dozens more images with duplications or painting 🖨️ Hundreds of blots that all share the same background (behold slideshow below)

In collaboration with the TransCODE consortium, EMBL-EBI scientists have found over 1,700 new proteins in the ‘dark proteome,’ a region of the human genome once thought to be noncoding. These new proteins could have implications for human diseases, including cancer. tinyurl.com/yc4t6s3s

1) The Herzik lab is excited to announce our newest preprint in collaboration with the Grotjahn lab! We have developed a surfactant cocktail that seeks to overcome one of the more nefarious problems in #cryoEM, Air-water interface (AWI)-induced damage and preferred orientation (PO).

A big thank you to @intact-ebi.bsky.social for the great collaboration integrating our high-throughput binding affinity (Kd) measurements into their database! Check out the kind of data we can generate using the Holdup assay — and there’s much more to come!

🔬✨ New in 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐀𝐜𝐭! Quantitative fragmentomics data (Nat Commun 2022) now integrated into IntAct - bringing high-quality, quantitative protein-protein interactions to the database.

Après des années de chroniques climatosceptiques, l'Actualité Chimique nous offre une couverture full IAgen qui fera saigner les yeux des collègues bossant sur les acides nucléiques. Une publication décidément à la pointe sur les enjeux de société...
