Wait the planned Baldur’s Gate 3 comic will have WATERDEEP as a setting and ASTARION is the main character. Guess that makes sense, it’s not like there’s a companion character from the game whose name ends with “of Waterdeep” and was the archmage “of Waterdeep” like nah lmao we don’t know him lol 💀
It's spooky season which means I can finally bring this piece back 🎃🐈⬛
I love writing, I say, as things are currently going amazing. (Hopefully this continues.)
I’m working on my novel again, actually making some progress this time lol

There is no such thing as an AI "creator". Just sloppers.
Personally, publicly interrogating an author on how they could have the temerity to make creative decisions you do not approve of is...a thing you can do. We have free will, after all. It might be worth considering, though, that you will be showing your entire ass to whoever sees you do it.

dang @beetlemoses.bsky.social is just so incredible. every time i see one of these comics it makes me smile and sometimes laugh but honestly the thing i see the most is such a potent sense of beauty. there is just so much sincerity within the absurdity. i love it. resonates with so much power

"Sorry, my product randomly breaks the law sometimes" is not something we would tolerate from other industries. Maybe we shouldn't tolerate it with AI

The app was built by using Claude. It works by reading your whole document, which is not a process I wish to invite a fucking LLM into. Your proof is in your drafts. This is a barfed-up solution in search of a problem. Or a bunch of scared rubes.

Know what TV show actually wouldn’t get made today? The Twilight Zone. Half of these fuckin’ episodes are about fascism.
Widow’s Bay is so good it makes me almost sad because what do you mean every show isn’t going to be like this forever
Anthony Stewart Head will always be a real one for this. RIP www.thepinknews.com/2019/12/20/a...

thank you for this thread! i had an off-the-cuff comic turned into a meme and it's such a weird feeling that my art is just being spread out there without any credit here's a version with my name on it, im fine with people using that one :)
