What does this mean? That the medical privacy of trans youth has no protections. That ideologues in hospitals can play politics with kids personal medical data and there will be no consequences. That trans Americans are second class citizens.

In the US, the Left isn't allowed to have its own spaces. We see it with the constant tsk-tsking about BlueSky's "echo chamber", and here it is again with the bashing of MSNBC, which is mostly centrist. The Right, however, can have *multiple* social media and news networks exclusive for them.

the closest the U.S. gets to a "progressive" cable news network is centrist Comcast-owned MSNBC, so of course the OBVIOUS response to authoritarianism is to make it even friendlier to right wing ideology
