Another MAGAT politician who serves his own interests before those of his constituents and our democracy. The silly dance Cornyn and Tillis performed is pathetic.
The money came from funding already allocated to beautify D.C. It technically is with Congressional permission but I'm not sure they knew he was going to use the money to regild these statutes. The Republicans probably did. Hell, it's probably in Project 2025.

Unpopular or at least unpopulist position: Data centers are actually fairly unobtrusive, low-impact, light industrial facilities. If we can’t build those, then you don’t wanna know what else we can’t build.

This should have happened from the very onset of these death traps. The ones that are already operating should be forced to go through the same scrutiny.
