I stopped by @sidequestbooks.bsky.social this weekend while in the Boston area and picked up these zines. Such a charming shop clearly imbued with care! Thank you for the laughs about whether I would outlive the shop as I decided whether to join the shop loyalty program.

#1 board game pet peeve: A bad rulebook. There are so many ways to go wrong: hard to navigate, ambiguous, not enough examples or pictures, components not labeled, no index, doesn't follow the game flow. Writing a solid rulebook is a skill and an art, even for simple games, and many fall short.
