Unpaid opportunity for a project where the creators are using assets you have to pay ElevenLabs to use? Hm.
I think this is actually really bad for the mutual aid space. People already have a stigma for those asking for help in a pretty fucked up world we live in, and allowing people to just turn off mutual aid support via reposts (main way its done at the moment) hurts a looooooot.

I even run into this using paid stock clipart for my thumbnails. Adobe's library is probably the worst about this, but none are free from slop.

An image I was using, that I downloaded almost a year ago was tagged GenAI way after it was uploaded. So keep track of your downloads, check them regularly, and stick to catalogs like Unsplash, if you can.
