Technically untrue. The fivedeck just so coincidentally happens to be compatible. The game was conceived with a standard deck in mind 🙂

Spandauer Another @cityhare.studio banger, and he made the Fivedeck pictured below to play it, but it is playable with a standard deck. It’s a fixed-hand climber where you score the melds you beat, with lots of little twists thrown in. I think it’s one of Niko’s best, to be honest.

I am in the private alpha of this because I know a guy and I am *obsessed*. I am gonna play so much of this on BGA when it opens up.

Draft Cribbage Obsessed with this. It’s such a perfect way to play cribbage whether you’ve played for years or haven’t tried it. The choices are so smart, the game is so lean. It’s like @cityhare.studio invented this alongside cribbage itself way back when. (Coming soon to BGA!)

It seems that publishers can ask for their game to rightfully be taken down. “Aviary” / Wingspan has already been taken down. Please contact the proper publishers to request their games to be taken down. We’ll also need help identifying all of the games so the correct people can be informed.

It’s absolutely maddening that someone would take this much advantage of so many creative people against their consent and dare to charge money for it… I’m not a lawyer but this should be outright illegal.

I don’t want to read a story an LLM generated because an LLM has nothing to say. It’s just noise, no signal. Like watching static on a screen; sometimes it might kind of look like something, but it’s a transient illusion. there’s human connection embedded in so many things I had taken for granted.

I have mixed feelings about vibe coded card game websites. A ton have popped up, made mostly by real enthusiasts, and often showcasing games that otherwise would have no digital version. It’s hard to see that as an unalloyed evil, but I’m still not super keen to engage with them or their authors.
