I don't even know what to say. This is real, this is true, so, like, thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. This took over 25 years to happen so if there's any lesson here it's either "keep at it, who knows" or "many people are divorced"

'There Will Come Soft Rains' tells of the final day of an automated house carrying on the routines for long dead tenants, in a short story within Ray Bradbury's 'The Martian Chronicles'. The date mentioned in the cheerful morning announcement by the house robotic voice is today, August 4, 2026.

I’ve just been algorithmed into seeing yet another silly street sport, which lead to about an hour of watching other silly sports. Tumbles started the same way. So now I’m thinking about my biggest problem with Tumbles: you really need a special surface to play it right. (🎲✂️🧵)

I’ve played 20 new-to-me games this month. I’ve played 143 new-to-me games this year. It’s a wild world to be alive in. So many good, creative, outstanding little chunks of artwork I get to play with every day. But Penalty still kicks insane amounts of ass.

I gotta say, I’m happy to see another week where the square is fuller. I do truly hate the cover for Lobo though. I play it too much to see a “how to play” as the thing. I’ll fix that.
