I don't think $30k is a life-changing amount of money. Median American born in 1980 will have $2m in income in their lifetime. It's a 1% increase in earnings.

found a whole operation of unmanned youtube channels making completely unchecked long form slop videos where the ai voice simulacra regularly trips up & does this for a full ten minutes every time. all the very legit comments are like "NO! An extremely funny thing about retro rereleases that use unlicensed emulators is that you are basically committing the exact same crime (using software outside of the terms of its license) that has you so scared of downloading roms in the first place but now someone has monetized it.

There’s only one elegant solution to this problem of increasingly stupid audiences, and that’s to mandate that every film ends with a closing rap song that lays out all the moral lessons of the movie. There will be a government office that reviews the songs for aural and pedagogical value.
