Nightdive most definitely used it for trailer purposes.

The Quake Mapping discord is the way to do it right. It is a very inclusive community that is also very firm on what and who it doesn't want. These two aspects are not mutually exclusive, and it has only grown with time. It is my hope Thief's eventually reaches that point, the game deserves it.
I want to expand on this in a much harsher way and say that the Thief community is insular and needlessly self destructive to the point where it's no real surprise that it's a graveyard in comparison to other similar communities.

I did everything I could; ran contests, ran jams, offered my services to other authors. It's also been made crystal clear to me that some people don't want me back anyway, so, so be it.
