Found these sketches from a while ago where I used one of those name generators and designed over the top 90s comic characters for them

Gun Blaze: a man in a red leotard suit with a tactical belt, he has a big smoking revolver, bandaged hands, and a blonde rat tail Crow Hawk: a man in blue and dark gray armor with a battle staff, he has an enormous blue black pompadour

And I just watched a video with a person talking about the Atari 2600 "Bowling," saying that kids back then would have had to "lower expectations" and deal with the disappointment of how the game actually looked. As one of those kids...no, the game looked fine to me. Played it a LOT.

It's difficult to overstate how much that part of the affordability crisis is deliberate policy; encouraging people to use home ownership for wealth accumulation has the immiseration of the succeeding generation as its inevitable consequence.

*Cable kills an X-Man* Cyclops, crossing his arms: Oh that’s it buddy, you are GROUNDED. Give me your big gun, you’re not getting it back for a whole WEEK.

I just explained the Mord'Sith to a friend. It's always fun to say "yeah the evil wizard's army of magical dominatrices who all wind up pledging loyalty to the 'good guy' because he's such a good pain sub" and not be exaggerating in the slightest. Those books sure did sell a lot of copies.
