Long live physical media! I recently reorganised my CDs and Vinyl and it made my stupid brain want to listen to #everyalbumIown in chronological order, so I figured I'd log them over on @popfeed.social. Sharing here, too, because the world would be better if we spent more time sharing what we love.

★★★½ review of Songs for Swingin’ Lovers! (1956) • Popfeed

Inherited this from my Dad, and my love of Frank is inherently wedded to my memories of him. This is Frank at his upbeat, swingin' best. Might not be his best album (with is In the Wee Small Hours), b...

This weekend as a was working on my website I went through my CD collection and pulled a stack off the shelf, put them on my desk and blasted through it over the weekend, and it was immensely satisfying, far more so that sticking a playlist on to just rumble on in the background.

I started getting followed by some "film festivals" and "writing festivals" and thought "oh, these are cool!" Then I looked a little closer. They're all part of a network that preys on writers, charging us for reviews, and feeding our stuff into slop generators. So I made a list.👋🏻🖕🏻😠

Neoliberalism in a nutshell. UEFA on FIFA's proposal: “The moment external investors acquire ownership interests ... football changes forever. Commercial return becomes a permanent obligation. ... Every decision is no longer driven by what best serves the game, but by what best serves shareholders.”

Standard Reader reads comics now. It works out which publications are comics on its own (based on the content and publication settings). They get a shelf of covers instead of a list of pages, and open in a full-screen reader that runs the whole publication as one continuous book.
