I also think now would be a really good time to pivot the digital govt strategy - the sweet spot is to give people as much convenience as possible without making reliance on your phone a "must have" for participation in daily life. Makes no sense for Burnham to lean on a centralised digital state

Just as importantly, he has a job where he's responsible for people's lives, a 1st dan black belt, cooks for the family on a regular basis, empties the dishwasher, can build a barn (and has done so!), is kind to the little ones at group, and has a level of chill that is mildly disturbing at times.

But where we do see learning starting to fail is where pupils have been made to think their thoughts were invalid, their links and associations and questions were silly, their answers were wrong. That's the situation to be avoided at all costs.

Three down (and one still to go). Final set of GCSE results in for the boy in the middle and he has 2 grade 9's and a 6 to add to 3 9's and 2 8's from the last couple of years. So far my grade 8/9 rate is a respectable >90% over 23 results from 16 different specs. (Famous last words...)
