We’re just in the middle of a research project on transitions to post-16 education for kids with SEND (under a range of definitions) and starting to peel the layers off what a good transition really means. Hopefully will be enlightening on this topic.

A-level Further Maths teachers: if you're looking for mechanics questions, look no further than NSW's Extension 1 and 2 exams. Mechanics without calculus is in Extension 1, with a strong emphasis on projectiles. Questions taken from the last four years of exams. #ALevelMaths

Agree. I also think in general, politicians should always argue as if yesterday was slightly better than it was and that tomorrow will be even better. Particularly if you are actually a minority politician.

also IMO her examples aren't really wrong. Yes some people questioned whether those players were English but there was a pretty strong consensus at time that the people who did so were racists. The point isn't there wasn't racism (there def was). It's more society didn't say "and that's acceptable"

If Ofsted is judging school standards, context is irrelevant. If it is judging school effectiveness, context is everything. The problem comes when they do the former but it is interpreted as the latter.
