I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. So one way to ensure that logos are not made with AI is to hardline require all logos to be submitted as vector files. As far as I can tell, AI can't make vector files, so it'll stop the spread of slop logos.

I find this really interesting. Even if you don't despise genAI as much as I do, if you're making art, it doesn't matter how nuanced you think the conversation is, and these hosts are 100% right -- the medium is the message and if you touch genAI, you're cooked.

As a science fiction writer I really fucking resent tech bros for ruining the phrase "artificial intelligence." 80 years of it being all about cool androids and interesting computers destroyed by five years of "Spicy autocorrect making everything shittier for money." NEVER FORGIVE.
